Terms of Use
The rules that apply when you use INHUBconnections, operated by Insights' International Hub for Nutrition in Israel (INHUB).
Last updated: October 22, 2026
1. Acceptance
By using INHUBconnections you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. When we update these terms, signed-in members are asked to accept the new version.
2. The service
INHUBconnections is a curated directory that helps people find research positions, conferences, meetups, funding and collaborators, and matches them to members' profiles. The platform is geared especially to health and nutrition professionals, but everyone is welcome to use it. Content is general professional information. It is not medical, clinical, legal or financial advice.
3. Accounts
You must be at least 16 to create an account. Keep your information accurate and your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
4. Listings and third-party content
Listings come from official sources and are re-checked automatically. Closed or expired calls are hidden when we can confirm it. However, we make no claim to full coverage: the opportunities, labs, funders and events shown are a selection, not a complete picture of what exists, and they may be incomplete or out of date despite our checks. Deadlines, eligibility and terms set by third parties can change without notice. Always confirm the details on the official page before applying. We are not responsible for third-party websites, programs or decisions.
5. AI-assisted features
Much of the platform is powered by AI and automated tools, including match scores, "Why this fits" explanations, CV suggestions, live funding searches and the automatic discovery of opportunities. AI can make mistakes: output may be incomplete, inaccurate or out of date, so check it yourself before relying on it. It is informational only and is not professional advice, and you use it at your own discretion. CV suggestions are only saved after you review them.
6. Content and licensing
Site content. Original content provided by the platform — including site text, design, curated lists and summaries — belongs to Insights or its licensors. This does not cover content provided by individual members, which remains theirs (see "Your submissions" below). You may share links and quote short excerpts for non-commercial, professional or educational purposes if you credit INHUBconnections. Anything else needs our written permission, including republishing, scraping at scale, training AI models or commercial use.
Your submissions. You keep ownership of what you submit. You confirm you have the right to share it, and you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store and process it so we can run the service. Your profile stays private except through the member directories. Once you complete registration, signed-in members can automatically see your full name, photo, role, organization, location, bio, professions, sub-specialties, specializations, interests, “Open to” choices, education, experience and publications in the Community directory; you can hide yourself from your profile at any time. Your email, CV and professional-profile links remain private.
7. Acceptable use
- Do not post unlawful, defamatory, harassing or misleading content.
- Do not pretend to be another person or organization.
- Do not scrape, reverse-engineer, overload or try to disrupt the service.
- Respect other people's intellectual property and privacy, including the details of members shown in a member directory.
- Do not collect, scrape or harvest members' details shown in a directory, and do not use them for unsolicited contact or marketing.
8. Electronic communications
Service emails. When you create an account or submit a request to INHUB (for example asking for information, booking a session or filling in an INHUB form), you agree to receive service emails related to that account or request, such as confirmations, password resets, approval decisions, meeting bookings and replies to your request.
Updates, newsletters and invitations. Unless you opt out, we may also send you marketing-style emails about INHUB, such as member updates, newsletters and personal invitations. Every such email will (a) clearly identify INHUB Connections by Insights as the sender, (b) include our physical postal address ([Postal address to be confirmed]), and (c) carry a one-click unsubscribe link.
Opting out. You can opt out at any time with the one-click unsubscribe link in any such email, by turning off "Email updates" under "Account & privacy" on your profile, or by emailing inhub.by.insights@gmail.com. Opting out never affects your account or access to the service. These rules follow Israel's Communications Law (section 30A), the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act and EU/UK ePrivacy rules. See our Privacy Policy for details.
9. Notices (EU Digital Services Act)
You, or the relevant authorities, can report content you believe is illegal by emailing inhub.by.insights@gmail.com. This address is our single point of contact. We will review notices and act where appropriate.
10. Copyright notices (DMCA)
If you believe material on the site infringes your copyright, send a notice that meets 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) to our designated agent:

11. Accessibility
We work to make the site accessible, in line with Israel's Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility) Regulations, 5773-2013, and WCAG 2.1 AA. If something doesn't work for you, contact inhub.by.insights@gmail.com.
12. Closing your account
You can stop using the service at any time and delete your account yourself from your profile page ("Account & privacy"), or ask us to delete it by emailing inhub.by.insights@gmail.com. Deletion is permanent. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
13. Sanctions
You may not use the service if you are a sanctioned person, or are in a jurisdiction under comprehensive sanctions.
14. Disclaimers and limits of liability
The service is currently free and provided "as is". We may introduce fees in the future, but you will never be charged unless you explicitly agree to the fees first. To the extent the law allows, we make no guarantees that listings or AI-generated content are accurate, complete, comprehensive or up to date, or that the service will always be available. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on listings or AI output. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your mandatory consumer rights.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the EU, UK or a U.S. state, you keep the protection of your local mandatory laws and may bring claims in your local courts.
